Recently I had the privilege of seeing Beyoncé live when she came to Ireland, thanks to my parents' AMAZING Christmas shopping skills, and it was ***FLAWLESS! She was just as good live as she is on her fully produced albums, it was an absolutely unmissable experience.
I felt that because she was so amazing, this deserved a blog post all of its own. I literally cannot express in words what it was like to see Beyoncé live, but I'm about to try my hardest to do exactly that!
We arrived at the O2 about an hour before the concert started, even though we had seats so we weren't worried about getting a good place. My sister, my mum and I basically spent the time soaking up the atmosphere and getting excited for Beyoncé to come on.
I won't spend much time talking about the opening act because I wasn't really that impressed by it. It was a DJ called Monsieur Adi, who played a lot of Remixy- type dance music, which I'm not a big fan of. We left our seats during the act to explore the 02, and to buy Ben and Jerry's ice cream, which was a much better option in my opinion.
The wait after Monsieur Adi left the stage felt endless. It was like the crowd was building towards some climax that would never come, and everyone was waiting for the exact same thing- Beyoncé.
After about thirty minutes of endless tension and suspence, the "Beyoncé" banner at the front of the stage was removed, and the stage was suddenly lit up. A big screen came down, and the start of ***Flawless began to play. The crowd,at this point, was going crazy even though Beyoncé wasn't actually on stage yet. The dancers came out when ***Flawless was playing, and finally- the moment that all the waiting and excitement had built up to- Beyoncé appeared onstage.
The crowd erupted when this happened, and from that first "wow she's actually here" moment, she put on an amazing show. My favourite song that she did was Love on Top, the end literally gave me goosebumps. I also loved Haunted, 1 + 1, Irreplaceable, Crazy in Love and XO. It was such a good set list. The were all so fab, I absolutely loved every minute.

I looove what she wore for her performance of Haunted- this is the best picture I could find |
I couldn't believe when it was over, it came as a little shock, especially as there was no encore. We were buzzing as we left, and even though we were exhausted me and my sister spent hours dissecting every song, dance and outfit of the show with a cup of tea and the lovely shortbread biscuits which had been put in our room.
This whole experience was literally one of the best. I'll definitely be wanting to go the next time Beyoncé comes as well, she was just so so fab!
I hope I've done justice to the awesomeness that is Beyoncé, just writing about it makes me excited again. If any one who's reading this has the opportunity to see her, I would say take it! Go!
I think it's time to get out my Beyoncé albums about now and go marvel in the genius of Beyoncé.
Goodbyeeeee!

We had such a good view!
The quality isn't the best at all, but it was such a fab show!
